As a self-employed business owner since 2013, and a Mortgage Loan Originator since 2016, I feel like the last 10 years have made me a true professional at my trade. A true professional that works with my clients from our first initial contact until the contract is completed and beyond. A great first impression not only sets the stage from the beginning of the relationship - but beyond when I'm looking to earn their future business as well as their referral business... Communication in my opinion is the key. Set the expectations up front in the beginning and you wont have to explain any issues along the way that may cause a bad experience. As a Mortgage Originator I worked for my borrowers and took pride in knowing I was helping someone buy their first, next, or even their final home. As a Realtor I look forward to continuing that process and feeling of pride. I have always been a "Knowledge Is Power" kind of person in all aspects of my life. I look forward to working with D.R. Horton and growing our business together.
I was in charge of every aspect of the business from top to bottom. When the owner and I originally sat down to discuss employment he made it clear he did not want anything to do with day to day operations. He wanted someone to run it as their own, treat it as their own, and grow it as their own. I was in charge of hiring and firing employees, the menu, marketing, promotions, product, pricing, training, scheduling... Again, you name it it fell under my control. I enjoyed leading my staff by example as I also bartended and took the occasional shift in the kitchen. I would never ask anything from my employees that I would not and did not do myself and that is important to me. Lead by example is necessary in everything in life in my opinion!
