JEREMY MCDANIEL

I am located approximately 115 miles south of the nearest Atmos Energy Office. I am the sole employee assigned to the area , and handle all the day to day operations of the system. Some of my responsibilities are as follows.

* Respond to emergency orders and remain on call 26 days a month

* Leak Investigations and calling in MS-811 locates for leaks found.

* Leak repairs on above and below ground piping

* Meter reading , installing WMR devices , and inspecting meters to ensure they are functioning properly

* Installing new customer meter sets and safely turning on gas to customers

* Dunning disconnects and reconnects

* Marking lines for MS-811 , and conducting damage prevention ambassador stops with contractors & landowners

* Cutting grass and keeping a neat appearance around various types of regulator stations , farm taps , and right of ways

* Resolving any customer complaints or billing issues

* Meeting with Project Engineers , MIC Technicians , and Cathodic Protection Technicians to provide hands on help while they are in the area

* Organizing storage buildings and ordering supplies to keep a well stocked inventory

* Maintaining a good image of Atmos Energy to our customers and fellow citizens

After earning senior in service I transferred to our Mid-Tex division to gain experience in construction. Some of my daily responsibilities were as follows.

* Repairing leaks on gas mains, regulator stations, and services with fellow crew members.

* Installing new mains and services

* Monitoring existing leaks and documenting in CM-Plus whether they had migrated or increased in hazard

* Organizing the office warehouse and making sure supplies were kept in a sufficient quantity for upcoming projects and day to day operations

* Working service whenever extra orders were received or service technicians needed to be off

* Volunteered to cover on-call duties for fellow team members that needed off or multiple emergency orders received

* Volunteered to work the Round Rock outage when extra service technicians were needed to safely respond to emergency orders and reconnect customers

* Conducted damage prevention ambassador stops to help prevent cut lines and maintain system safety

* Utilizing our employee educational assistance program ; I earned 18 hours of credits towards a AA-Business degree.

I began my career with Atmos Energy at our Greenwood,Ms office. I was hired as a Service Technician 1, was promoted to Service Tech 2 after 6 months, and then promoted to senior after 2 years from my date of hire. Some of my responsibilities and accomplishments were as follows.

* Installed and programmed meters

* Conducted dunning disconnects and reconnects

* Conducted new customer installations and turn ons

* Responded to emergency orders and conducted leak investigations

* Inspected regulator stations with my Field Supervisor

* Met with customers to resolve billing concerns and safely seal off meters if leaks were found

* Marked lines for MS-811 and conducted damage prevention ambassador stops with contractors and land owners

* Organized the warehouse and helped maintain a sufficient inventory for projects and day to day operations

* Volunteered to work numerous unplanned outages in Greenville, Cleveland, and Southaven, Mississippi. Also volunteered to work in Dallas, Texas after tornado damages occurred.

* Held on call responsibilities for the Greenwood and Grenada offices. Also volunteered to cover extra shifts for technicians that needed off for emergency or family events

I was employed part time as a deputy sheriff and police officer for approximately 15 years. During this time I worked night shifts for Carroll & Montgomery Sheriff's departments and the towns of Vaiden & Kilmichael. Some of this time was worked with all 4 concurrently. I resigned as a officer after beginning on call duties with Atmos Energy and wanting to focus on my career more. The time spent in law enforcement taught me how to properly talk with irate customers and resolve issues peacefully.

I worked as a Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator for Attala Water services for approximately 13 years. We operated 11 rural and municipal systems in 4 counties. Some of my daily responsibilities were as follows.

* Inspected water wells and wastewater treatments plants bi-weekly. This included making sure proper chemical amounts were being injected and repairing feed pumps.

* Pulling monthly samples on each system and shipping them to laboratories for analysis

* Maintaining log books and records for inspection by MSDH and MDEQ. Also conducting annual inspections with government officials

* Repaired and installed new utility services and distribution mains

* Piped residential and commercial buildings for water, gas, and sewer

* Installed residential waste water treatment plants

* Operated heavy equipment during installations

* Marked lines for MS-811 and called in new locates for leaks and projects

* Ordered parts and maintained a stocked warehouse

* Met with customers over billing concerns, new services, main extensions

* Monitored daily pump rates , recorded water losses, and looked for leaks when records showed loss
