• I learned a variety of practical skills through the program such as project planning, effective communication, and team management.
• I held several leadership positions within my troop. The ones I would like to highlight are the two separate six month terms where I held the "Assistant Senior Patrol Leader" position. During my first term I was given the responsibility of planning and managing my troop's weekly meetings. This involved preparing meaningful activities for around 100 people of varying ages. For my second term I was in charge of assisting newly recruited scouts be integrated into the program. This also involved weekly planning but it was specifically tailored to teach and entertain children around 5th grade to 7th grade.
