Installed, spliced and maintained overhead and underground power lines for residential and commercial customers.
Responded to emergency repair calls to conduct line switching or sectionalizing to reroute current and speed service restoration.
Inspected power lines for any damage or irregularities and replaced components.
Developed strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, transformers, circuit breakers, switches, insulators, and other power distribution components.
Promoted safe working practices within the crew by adhering to established safety protocols at all times.
