Medical equipment technicians maintain and repair machinery and tools used in medical offices, hospitals, and healthcare facilities. We work on a variety of equipment, from adjustable beds and motorized wheelchairs to defibrillators and imaging equipment. To perform repairs, they use many specialized tools.

• Safely perform the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of products
• Utilize hand-held scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes
• Install service streetlights and electrical control systems
