As Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Wealth advisor I have helped families and professionals increase their wealth profiles. I worked with approximately 50 client relationships whose total investment portfolios exceeded 70 million dollars.
Responsibilities included basic financial planning helping clients meet and hopefully exceed their goals, dreams, and financial objectives.
I worked with prospects using 2 two step interview approach.
First meeting was to develop my creditability and develop a positive relationship and comfort level. I asked many questions about their personal and financial situation. Where are they currently and where do they see their financial future going.
The second meeting was to review the information gathered during the first meeting to insure correctness. Also, at that meeting I would inform them if they were on the right track to achieve their goals. If not, I would make suggestions to help them achieve their financial goals. If they were comfortable with those suggestions, then they would usually become one of my clients.
My main goal was to maintain regular communication, providing updates on portfolio performance and adjusting strategies as needed in their personal financial plans.
