  • Review street improvement plans to determine the need for traffic control devices, prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for the installation of traffic signal systems.
  • Prepare planning, design, and research studies to look at existing and proposed traffic control measures and methodologies.
  • Assesses the operational effectiveness of the transportation system relative to capacity design, level of service and safety.
