Summary

A dedicated tradesman with a varied background in CNC programming/operation, Shop Management, Formal Instruction, and Rapid Prototype Development with 11 years of experience in a rapidly changing and stressful environment. Initially served as a field machinist and supervisor, receiving a great deal of applicable knowledge and experience to work from. Transitioned to a position as an instructor, primary production and prototype machinist at the Marine Corps' Precision Weapons Section in Quantico, Virginia. Developed instruction techniques, shop management skills, and honed manufacturing and engineering expertise by working on a variety of projects and researching new and ever expanding manufacturing methods. Continued to develop communication and leadership abilities by working as a Recruiting Station Commander developing managerial and planning skills. Ready for a new position to continue skills development further opportunities with the company.

  • Utilize Mastercam and Solidworks Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing software to generate 3D engineering models and program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills, lathes, wire EDM's and waterjet machines.
  • Generate 3D models for use in Rapid Prototyping and Additive Manufacturing applications.
  • Set up, operate and maintain Markforged 3D Printers, Haas Vertical Machining Centers, and Haas Horizontal Turret Lathes.
