  • Vanguard is a classic / muscle car dealership. I was there for about a year and a half and helped the company grow and expand they're capabilities. I was not technically a manager but did assume many of the responsibilities of a manager. I also was responsible for all types of repairs , cosmetic, drivability, engine building and tuning, electrical, and much more. I also communicated with previous and potential customers and represented the company at shows and events.

  • Dobbs Motorsports is a multi million dollar private car collection. I was the lead technician and worked directly with the owner while in Scottsdale. I was responsible for moving the company and all its assets (nearly 100 cars, 30 motorcycles, all parts and machine shop) to Michigan in 2009 and became the GM as well as maintaining daily mechanical responsibilities. I did restoration, modifications, race preparation, track support and car purchases for a wide variety of vintage race cars,street cars and motorcycles. My last restoration project at Dobbs was a 1950 Alfa Romeo 6C2500 Super Sport which has been displayed at Pebble Beech.

  • My daily responsibilities included managing and organizing the Formula shop as well as performing mechanical repairs and improvements, engine and chassis tuning, fuel, brake, and electrical systems and more. Working directly with students and occasionally working as an instructor. I also built the Formula engines and did some custom paint work for cars used as display / show cars.

  • As Team Manager I was responsible for all aspects of daily operations of a professional Race team. This was during Doug Kalitta's USAC sprint and midget career. We raced more than 50 races per year. All of the cars were built in house and I was the sole engine builder working with parts suppliers to develop new and different combinations and parts. I did chassis set up and tuning as well as testing cars prior to racing. I also did much of the paint design for the cars and transport vehicles. We won two national championships and many high profile races. The year I left Doug went from sprint cars to top fuel dragsters.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I have been very fortunate to have worked with some great people and been able to work on, drive, and maintain some incredible cars. I have always excelled and moved into leadership roles and try to give more than is expected. I welcome and enjoy diverse situations and can fit into many positions. Aside from cars and motorcycles my interests are mountain biking, hiking, working out and being outside enjoying sunshine. I do not smoke, use drugs, or even drink alcohol. I'm married to my high school girlfriend and she and I would very much like to relocate back to the Phoenix area.
