Read and interpret plans/specifications, negotiate and implement change orders, and monitor work to assure accuracy and efficiency in taking projects from concept through construction readiness for occupancy. Research and select construction methods, materials, equipment, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that all work performed closely conforms with the requirements of plans and specifications—scheduling activities with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, inspectors, owner representatives, and other parties. Provide technical assistance and advice to speed up the resolution of technical issues, implement changes required by modifications to the design, and assess issues related to methods and constructability.
