  • Juntos, New Bedford, MA, 09/01/21, 05/01/23, Juntos was an organization where students from my high school went to a place in New Bedford, MA, where we would teach adults and children English in order for them to get their VISA or in order to help them get better opportunities in the US. I would go 1-2 times every two weeks, depending on scheduling, and each session was 2 hours.
  • Special Olympics, Marion, MA, 10/01/19, 05/01/23, Special Olympics was a community service opportunity in which kids at my high school participated. We would set up games and different events for children with disabilities to come to play with. It gave them a safe space to play while parents could watch and not be worried. The group of Tabor students would play with the kids and help them with different things. This was one of the more fun community service opportunities I have ever participated in, as I LOVE kids. Seeing the kid's faces light up and giving the parents a break would honestly make my day!
