I have been employed by the City of Ocala since I was 18 years old. I have worked for Ocala Electric Utility for nearly 16 years. Since graduating the Lineman Apprenticeship program over four years ago I have been a highly dependable Lineman. I have maintained the highest Arcos callback percentage for over two years now. I am currently at a 92 percent, with 34 out of 37 worked calls. The position I have applied for is Troubleman. So, in my opinion, who better fills this position than someone who runs trouble consistently. I work well with others and love to share my knowledge and skills with anyone trying the learn this trade. I feel that my dependability and positive attitude are some of my best attributes that I could utilize in this position. Unity is very important in the growth of this utility. My relationships with others, no matter the position can help solidify a positive bond that I feel is monumental in our growing utility. I feel that I am well equipped to showcase my leadership in the role of Troubleman or wherever I can best serve OEU.
