Experienced and dedicated Community Specialist with over 11 years of service in a Parent Center, specializing in organizing and facilitating support groups for both parents and students. Parent support groups have covered diverse topics, including parenting courses such as "Parent Project" and "Parents on a Mission," as well as Reading Clubs, Mental Health, and Chronic Illness among others. I am also a Facilitator/Advisor, for the program LISTOS and the MARCA Club.
In my current role, I contribute to both Tier 1 and Tier 2 services, addressing a range of student concerns, including truancy, behavior, grief, emotional and social support, re-entry, and routine check-ins, all while maintaining strict confidentiality. Highly organized and dependable, I bring strong communication and project management skills to fast-paced environments, efficiently managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude.
With a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take on new challenges, I am eager to leverage my interpersonal skills, time management, and adaptability in a full-time role. Quick to learn and driven to achieve results, I am committed to contributing to team success and advancing organizational objectives with enthusiasm and dedication.
