My time as a mechanic at Mckee has sharpened my mechanical and welding skills as well as gaining many new skills. I have had the opportunity to assist and lead in two oven rebuilds on the old 305 Haas ovens. One was a full refurbishment while the other was an upgrade and modification. For the last almost 6 years I have had the opportunity to be the go to guy for C-Phase. I have been to many Honey Bun Value Stream Meetings where I have taken a key roll in representing the engineering department. This has led to the implementing of two more weekend mechanic positions to help with maintaining equipment and assigning PM's to those mechanics who may have the time and knowledge to complete them fully and well. I have communicated with many vendors, including Moline, on numerous occasions to better and or upgrade our equipment. This led me to the Proofer Refurbishment Kits, that have increased our productivity and ease of maintenance with our limited time to inspect tremendously. I also took a lead roll installing these kits and guided an incredible crew of mechanics on 3 seamless refurbishments. I have trained many mechanics throughout the process side of the plant and have to upmost respect for safety. I always follow safety protocols and try to encourage those around me to do the same. I also collaborate with production and ESD supervisors, TLT's, and operators to better understand the equipment being operated or cleaned.

My time at Carroll Brothers Fence sharpened my welding and maintenance skills as well as helped me establish a strong background in customer communication. The last two years spent with this great company, I was promoted to foreman. This included managing company time and expense and making sure that all our workers understood the tasks at hand. I worked side by side with the men that I was to oversee, which in turn, established better communication and understanding of their needs and the companies needs. I also operated the Carroll Brothers Landscaping business and maintained all of our equipment which included everything from mowers to dozers. I was the overseer on many jobs that were under contract with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, Kamo Electric, GRDA, and Cherokee Nation. I helped build many miles of fence for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. Installed gates on easements for Kamo Electric and GRDA. I built many miles of fence as well as Cherokee Nation's well renown Buffalo Corrals. I had to work with OSHA guidelines and relied on all their literature for our safety procedures.
