· Communicate and coordinate regularly with other upper and middle management personnel and executive directors to aid in determining and establishing company goals and projections, and partner with the other managers to ensure that resolutions are effectively implemented
· Fulfill fiduciary responsibility, as a member of upper management, by approving budgets, examining reports, contributing to company-wide and departmental audits, and assisting in determining Metal Works’ goals and projections
· Research and compile cost analyses of new production equipment that will improve overall performance and productivity, and present these findings to the team of upper management and executive directors
· Assiduously research Metal Works’ procedural and operational capacities to assist in organizing, implementing, and enforcing gainful practices as part of the continuing effort to improve Metal Works’ profitable and timely performance of work
· Establish and diligently maintain an intimate familiarity with awarded projects, equipment and staff capabilities; stay abreast of all issues that could potentially negatively impact performance and profitability on awarded project
· Perform employee reviews, administer reprimands, and recommend employee rewards as permissible and budgeted
· Participate with Project Management supervisor in hiring and termination of Project Management personnel. Work with Metal Works’ Human Resource to ensure that all employee interactions are performed in accordance with the law and corporate policies
· Schedule and authorize leave for Project Management supervisor
· Maintain working knowledge and proficiency of use of programs and tools required for effective service (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Bluebeam, etc.)
· Develop and manage relationships with other management members, executive directors, supervisors, employees, customers, clients, suppliers, and vendors
