  • Arrive at work check the schedule to see what machine I’m on. Have a meeting in break room then proceeded to placed machine. Sign into the machine sign my name and read the process and specification of said part running out of the machine. Ask first shift operator the way he has been handling and cleaning up parts. I would then take their place and begin running the part.
  • Giving breaks to other machine on the fly and learning a process in less than 5 minutes.
  • Letting cell supervisor know problems with production
  • If I was not able to get hold of cell supervisor would get ahold of the shift supervisor
  • Being computer friendly and was able to work out simple computer problems
  • Being able to respond to emergencies
  • Working at a fact pace every single day for 9 hours straight

  • This was my first job. I was a sofa framer. I was to run 2 lines and on these 2 lines we built sofa frames. I came into that job not knowing how to change air guns to becoming one of the most dependent on the production floor. I learn all 3 positions on 2 lines and almost all of the 3rd lines positions I didn’t go over to the 3rd line as much. But I became the main repair person and my supervisor would ask me to do task that others were not able to handle and usually was the line lead.
