Western Carolina Speech & Hearing Clinic , August 2022-May 2023

  • Populations served: Children and Adults
  • University Participant students, University inclusion program for college-aged persons with intellectual disabilities
  • Bilingual clients, Children ages 2-8
  • Areas treated or assessed: social language, job readiness, feeding/swallowing, AAC, articulation, expressive/receptive language


Baptist Memorial Hospital , June-August 2023

  • Populations served: Children and Adults
  • children with a variety of needs (autism, intellectual disability, language delay, apraxia, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency)
  • Worked inpatient at the hospital in acute care. Evaluated and treated adults with dysphagia, cognitive deficits, aphasia, dysarthria, voice deficits
  • Administered Modified Barium Swallow Studies 3-4 times a week to evaluate patient's swallow impairments
