Jazz Promoter, Producer & Manager

Summary

I am the classic case of someone displaying a deep love of music from a young age and having an instrument thrust upon them, only to find out that their real destiny is on the promotional side of the music. What is uncommon is my demonstrated ability to integrate into the world of musicians on a profound level and speak for them. I am in this for the long haul.

Hobbies

I graduated from George Brown College with a diploma in Culinary Arts. While I quickly learned early on that restaurant kitchen life is not for me, I have greatly loved the skills I attained at this school. Aside from the wonderful meals I can share with family & friends, it has taught me great lessons of time management, budgeting, curating, balancing of disparate taste and presentation.

While a jazz person at my core, I have a deep love of certain artists and genres that fall completely outside the jazz world. This helps me pick up on societal tendencies long before the rest of the jazz world. These include Billy Strings (country-bluegrass), Phish & the Grateful Dead (jamband) & various kinds of electronic music (house, techno, bass/dubstep).
