Jesse McAlpine

DAVENPORT

Summary

I specialized in making connections and learning valuable skills related to basic home repair and maintenance. Unfortunately, I had to leave my work at ECHO because I decided to pursue a career in aviation with a CFI in Spencer, WV. With the funds I had saved from my years of working, I realized I wanted nothing more than to become a full-time pilot and teach others how to fly. I am currently flying for QC Aero under a scholarship that pays for my flight training. A job at Elliott Aviation would bring me closer to my dream career as an airline pilot. I believe I am well suited for LST, and I hope you will agree.

Harvard CS50 Certificate

I recently completed the Harvard University CS50 program, where I gained a strong foundation in computer science and problem-solving. Through the course, I gained experience with programming concepts such as algorithms, data structures, web development, and debugging. The program also strengthened my ability to think critically, learn independently, and beat new technical challenges. Completing CS50 required discipline, persistence, and attention to detail, and it gave me confidence in my ability to learn complex material quickly. I believe the skills I gained through the program will help me contribute effectively in both technical and team-oriented environments.
