  • Program Coordinator serves as a point of contact between the Homeless Outreach and Support Team (HOST) and other city agencies responsible for encampment enforcement actions, such as the Mayor's Office, Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, Denver Department of Public Health and Environment, and Department of Safety. This role involves fostering collaboration and coordination among these agencies.
  • Stabilize residents at risk of involuntary displacement and connect residents to housing resources such as home repairs, rent and utility assistance, and legal support.
  • Provide services, resources, and connections on the morning of an encampment enforcement action in coordination with other city agencies
  • Assist the program manager with the develop and implement processes for the documentation and tracking of Encampment Response Team program outcomes

  • During the height of the Pandemic, our two Bridge Shelter programs were placed into the San Diego Convention Center. Throughout this time, I managed a program which serviced up to 750 homeless individuals, and oversaw up to 100 employees. I collaborated with the Mayor's Homeless Strategies team, SDPD, SD Fire Marshall, SD County medical team, and numerous State and County agencies.

  • Assist in updating agency policies and procedures. Carry agency big picture and stay current on agency activities
  • Coordinate in-service trainings and staff meetings for purpose of training/supervising staff and facilitating communication among learning team members.
  • Ensured adequate staffing to provide delivery of services in compliance with State and County contracts.
  • Provide personnel management to include agency Professional Development Planning, hiring, training, supervision, and evaluations of core staff.

  • Engage with homeless individuals throughout San Diego to assess and provide additional
    resources, diversion referrals, and place individuals in emergency shelters.
  • Conduct assessments on individuals to coordinate level of housing intervention needed,
    such as permanent supportive housing, rapid rehousing, and diversion referrals.
  • Remain primary point of contact between client and housing providers.
  • Asses and address client barriers through Housing Stabilization plans to establish clients
    needs by monitoring financial plans, re-occurring health conditions, and assist in obtaining
    all necessary documentation.
  • Maintain client related data systems, including case notes and complete Clarity entries
    Prepare case management related reports including but not limited to: outcomes, successes, etc.

    and Disability Insurance.

  • Assures that specific HUD program goals are consistently being met and provides extensive case work to foster transition from homelessness to permanent housing.
