Summary

With 17 years at the forefront of investigative experience, notably with as a detective in the Narcotics Section and now as a supervisor with the Special Victims Bureau, I've honed a blend of robust investigative skills and strong interpersonal abilities. Fluent in English and Spanish, my career is marked by significant collaborations with federal agencies and a track record of leading high-stakes criminal investigations, underscoring my commitment to law enforcement excellence.

Driven to be considered a master of my craft and understand the only way to achieve that is through collaboration with my colleagues built on trust and camaraderie. Mentored by my peers of whom I hold in the highest regard, I take with me the respect I have for them and apply that to every aspect of my career as I strive to set a standard they would consider acceptable. I leave my pride at the door when it comes to interpersonal relationships and approach each encounter both positive and negative, with an open mind free of my own perspective, when said situation requires. I also do not hesitate to respectfully voice my opinion when necessary and take pride in saying that I have and will never ask of a subordinate to handle/complete a task(s) or conduct themselves in a manner that I myself would not do. I believe that an individual whether it be a supervisor or subordinate, is only as successful as their squad, especially in specialized units and the only way to achieve that is through camaraderie.
