I started my career at BGIMP in August of 2015. I was hired as a new nurse right out of school to become the direct nurse to Emily Cope, APRN and Ashley Parrigin, APRN. I was in charge of the NP desk for 4 years until I was asked to also maintain the Referrals Department at BGIMP. During this time, I was also able to work hand in hand with Sales Representatives from a plethora of different companies to schedule luncheons as well as negotiating medication samples. I was only able to maintain the direct roll of Referrals Coordinator for 1 year when COVID happened. At this time, I was asked by Dr. Paul Kniery to join his desk and to become his direct nurse where I am still maintaining this desk currently. I have worked every desk at BGIMP as a float nurse and have also coordinated hand in hand with the physicians to maintain staff delegations and helped with task management. I find myself a seasoned patient-oriented nursing professional with 9 years of hands-on experience in delivering quality direct and indirect patient care to individuals in longterm care settings like Magnolia Village where I did my practicum and BGIMP.
