UH Seidman Cancer Center- Hematology/Oncology : 150 hours

• APP coverage for solid tumor, malignant hematology, bone marrow transplant, and sickle-cell services (about 30 beds per unit)
• 3-4 patient admissions during each night shift
• Rounding on 5-7 patients during each day shift
• Identification and treatment of chemotherapy/radiation adverse reactions
• Familiarity of UH cancer clinical trials and research
• Collaboration with oncologists, nursing staff, and other consulting providers

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus- CVICU Heart & Lung transplant : 200 hours

• Management of complex and critical cardiothoracic surgery patients (transplants, CABG, valve repair/replacements, etc.)
• Frequent interdisciplinary rounds on 10-12 patients per day
• Central/arterial line and corpac placement
• Interpretation of ECG and imagining tests
• First response to patient codes and rapid responses in CVICU
• Management of mechanical ventilation, ECMO, VAD, and IABP
