A ZOLL LifeVest Patient Service Representative (PSR) is
primarily responsible for fitting patients with the wearable cardioverter defibrillator (WCD), programming the device according to physician orders, and educating patients and caregivers on its daily use. They provide crucial, life-saving support by ensuring patients are confident in operating and
maintaining the device.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
*Patient Fitting and Programming:
Measure patients to determine the correct garment size. Program the LifeVest according to the prescribing physician's specific orders.
*Education and Training:
Train patients and their family members or caregivers on
how to wear, operate, and maintain LifeVest daily.
*Scheduling and Travel:
Contact patients/caregivers to schedule appointments and
travel to patient homes, hospitals, or care facilities for initial
fittings and follow-up visits.
*Paperwork Management:
Review and ensure the completion of necessary
documentation—such as the Patient Agreement and WEAR Checklist. Transmit these signed forms to ZOLL within 24 hours.
*Inventory Management:
Manage, track, and maintain an accurate inventory of devices and garments.
Contrated Paramedical Examiner
Respond to the needs and requested orders from clients from the following companies, APPS, IMS, EMSI and Quest Diagnostics. Worked with different management and staff as a contractor with a professional manner.
Research, answers, did follow ups with clients, agents , and
field questions appropriately and in a timely manner. This includes, but is not limited to, giving out specimen’s requirements, requesting additional tests and providing reports. Documents all calls and submits problems or difficult calls to the manager. Coordinates activities between client services, the agents, and the client. This includes scheduling applicants with an examiner or at a PSC site and communication agents, applicants and examiners. Conducted in-center exams which include taking vitals, medical histories, venipuncture, urine collections, oral swabs, hair samples, and EKG. Collected specimens for pre-employment drug screen's and Legal DNA paternity testing.
Managing health fairs and training examiners.
Observe all compliance policies, safety policies, and procedures as outlined with HIPPA and OSHA guidelines.
