I received the 2019 UMW Missionary of the Year Award. 2020 Laity Award Member

In 2019 I started a clothing closet and food ministry. Due to Covid we weren't allowed to have people come in to the church, so I began taking bags of items to those in need. The UMW recognized my efforts and awarded me Missionary of the year.

In 2020 our church closed due to the rising numbers of covid cases. I researched ways to help members stay involved. We began Bible Studies, prayer meeting and scheduled times to check on each other through zoom calls and weekly scheduled phone calls. The Laity Award says "For accepting the challenge and leading the way" for doing online services, delivering items to  members of the congregation and receiving $95,000 for the payroll protection plan.
