The MSAN Dietetics Focus Graduate Program is accredited through The Accreditation Council for Nutrition and Dietetics (ASCEND) Future Education Model (FEM). This program meets all requirements to sit sit for the RD exam.

• Clinical Experience: Sodexo-Shasta Regional Hospital, Morrison Healthcare-Bluffton Medical Center, Auburn Oaks Care Facility, River Bend Nursing Center. Developed and implemented individualized nutrition care plans for residents, ensuring dietary needs were et according to medical conditions and personal preferences. Collaborated with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive medical nutrition therapy Conducted thorough nutritional assessments and developed individualized care plans for patients, addressing a wide range of medical conditions including diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and gastrointestinal disorders. • Community Experience: CA Beef Council, Meals on Wheels by ACC & CA Department of Public Health WIC. Collaborated with senior staff to update breastfeeding education materials for the WIC program effectively teaching pregnant women and breast feeding mothers best practices for breast feeding and continued milk supply.
• Food Service Management Experience: Western Placer Unified School District, Auburn Oaks Care Facility, River Bend Nursing Center. Assisted in planning and execution of balanced, nutritious menus for a large scale food service operation serving over 4200 students daily, ensuring adherence to dietary guidelines and budget constraints. Participated on interview panels to interview prospective new employees, supported the training of kitchen staff, and helped maintain rigorous standards of foods safety and quality control. Conducted recipe testing and production to develop healthy and appealing menu items, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
