I became a cna when I was a senior in high school , and graduated highschool with my cna completed in 2006
I got my first cna job in July 2006 at ACMCC. They hired me as an activity aide /cna . I have done that job for 20 years. I worked full time as an Act. Aide, but utilized my cna skills frequently. I picked up many cna shifts, and worked on the floor often.
As of this year I switched to Cna permanently as to utilize the weekend program offered to cnas.
I loved doing Activities, and was very good at it. But I Also love providing care to my residents and bringing a smile to their face.
Resident centered care is very important to me.
I am currently seeking a new position only to find something closer to my house.
