When I returned to Super One Foods I started back as a Cashier. I got promoted to a Front-end Manager and a year later I got promoted to a Non-Foods Manager. My tasks then were to stock my grocery truck in which I had my own section. It included items such as shampoo, lotion, pharmacy and much more. I was in charge of ordering and keeping up with inventory for my department as well. A year after that I got promoted to the Store Trainer. Currently as a Store Trainer I:


  • Assist with the hiring needs of our location
  • Complete Onboarding and first day training and instructions for all new partners which included going over important policies such as dress code, lunch breaks and forms of payment.
  • Keep track of certain policy binders which include LATC, Food Safety and Power Equipment Certifications.
  • Maintain minor work permits on all partners under 18.
  • Complete Drug Screens and Background checks for all partners being promoted to a manager position.
  • Run a LEARN report monthly which included computer training for all partners.
  • Cashier train all partners hired or transferring to a cash handling position.
  • Maintain Safety folders on different topics associated to safety within the workplace and monitored that all partners read and sign when necessary.
