I am able to confidently collaborate with physician's offices, school personal, and direct care providers. I am comfortable working with Physical therapists, Speech therapists, Occupational therapists etc. I have many hours advocating and problem-solving with insurance companies and Medicaid. I'm familiar with DD registration and re-qualification. I understand the ICAP assessment process and support plan process. I advocate for my son as part of his support team. I participate in IEP meetings and assist him to navigate the guardianship process. I've worked hours with service agencies and staff.
