Appointed by the court with full guardianship powers to protect and manage the well-being of vulnerable adults. Successfully managed a caseload of 35 clients, ensuring compliance with court orders and advocating for clients needs. Played a key role in rebuilding the guardianship program during a period of significant organizational change and adversity. Recruited, recommended for hire and trained 4 new guardians. Collaborated with families, medical providers, social workers, funeral homes and courts to ensure the highest standard of care and decision making.

• Mental health practitioner that is responsible for screening calls from the regional dispatch center, triaging, and creating and executing personalized action plans to individuals in Lake, Carlton, and St. Louis County. Duties also include conducting mental health assessments to send referrals for longterm supports and services, hospital advocacy, Duluth Police department co-response, and street outreach.

• Completed two semesters of clinical rotation at Lakewalk Duluth and Grand Rapids Hospital before securing a job as a trauma surgical tech at St. Mary's Level One Hospital. Completed the duties of that role including, but not limited to, setting up the operating room and opening the sterile field, setting up all supplies, instrumentation and medications for the procedure, assisting the surgeon throughout, and closing the patient and turning over the room. Other duties included sterile processing, picking case carts, and setting rooms up for morning procedures.

• Corrections Counselor for Juvenile Justice female unit.
• Primary responsibilities included group therapy, family therapy, individualized program planning, medication administration, chemical dependency courses and creating programs designed to improve social and independent living skills.
• In crisis, responsibilities included responding to further juvenile justice units and mental health quarters.
• The Hills fell under both DHS and DOC regulation.

• Nursing Assistant for General Surgery/Urology/Gynecology unit.
• Primary duties included monitoring vitals, INO's, feed assists, bathing, ambulation, transfer to and from procedures and diagnostics, pre- and post-surgical care, glucose monitoring, supplemental oxygen, repositioning, and drain management (nephrostomy, Jackson-Pratt, and chest tubes).
• Responsible for additional floors including Orthopedic, Medical, Rehabilitation, Mental health, and Intensive Care Unit.

• Nursing Assistant for 28-bed geriatric memory care facility.
• Responsibilities included medication administration, diabetic care, Hoyer lift transfers, sit to stand support, feed assists, and ambulation.
• Provided necessary care to those involved with dementia, hospice, rehabilitation, and TBI's.

• Program Coordinator overseeing three vulnerable adult group homes including four bed high behavioral, four bed high medical, and fourteen bed intermediate care facility.
• Supervised operations within the homes, trained staff, and worked a mixed schedule of both floor and office hours. Duties include scheduling, financial logging, following DHS regulation, personal care, and medical administration.
• Responsible for providing care to those effected by cerebral palsy, TBI, hospice, G-tube/J-tube, catheter's, straight cathing, diabetic care, supplemental O2, incontinence, wound care, ostomy care, sterile change of suprapubic catheter, and feed assists.

• Direct Support Professional working with individuals in both medical and behavioral group home settings.
• Responsible for providing the necessary care for patients with cerebral palsy, quadriplegia, Downs syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, diabetes, fetal alcohol syndrome, and traumatic brain injury.
• Shadowed under supervisor for forty hours intended for management training and received an ARRM Care Award nomination.
