• I also assess ER patients with early Ob or Gyn complaints.

• Provided direct patient care in the outpatient setting in addition to inpatient care for both obstetrics and gynecology.

• Joined a busy practice out of residency. Seeing an average of 28-34 patients/day in the office. Averaging between 12-15 deliveries/month in the final 4 years -Range of 7,500-8,600 wRVUs/yearly for the final 4 years. Able to maintain a large patient panel with over 4,000 patients.
• Assessed, diagnosed and treated emergency and chronic medical conditions in addition to routine preventative care.
• Collaborated with consulting physicians regarding care of patients.

• Triaged and assessed patients to prioritize care and quickly handle urgent issues for obstetric patients

I work as an OB hospitalist at St Elizabeth’s Hospital. I assess pregnant patients in our OBED, I manage unassigned patients, and I assist the private physicians with OB & Gyn admissions and consults. In addition, I assist with teaching the residents who rotate through our unit.
