I am a former stay-at-home mom who is just entering back into the workforce, and interested in gaining experience in the medical field. I am self motivated, willing to learn, and take classes as requested. Fast learner with multiple years of experience working with people. While I have little professional healthcare experience, I have helped care for my dad for the past year. I have experienced caring for him through a major myocardial infarction, surgery, stroke, and seizure. I have also helped with medications as he takes several multiple times per day.
Opening and closing Pro Shop, assisting customers by checking them in for Tee Times on computer, ringing up merchandise, preparing food, keeping Pro Shop and bathrooms clean, being responsible for own register draw and money, doing own money deposit at end of shift, driving golf carts and keeping them clean, keeping track of inventory, and assisting with and running tournament and outings.
I was fortunate to be able to be the primary caregiver of my 2 children for almost 6 years. The skills I’ve acquired during this time have proven to be invaluable. I have learned to multitask, handle household finances, time management, problem solving, planning, communication, compassion, patience, and being self-motivated.
I was one of 3 Recreation Aides at the ProShop and was over multiple employees and volunteers. Duties included scheduling, handling money and doing deposits, balancing cash registers, scheduling and organizing golf outings, as well as opening and closing ProShop, assisting customers by checking them in for Tee Times on computer, ringing up merchandise, preparing food, keeping ProShop and bathrooms clean, driving and cleaning golf carts, as well as keeping track of inventory. I left this State job to be a stay-at-home mom.
Shift manager duties included but not limited to; opening and closing the store, balancing and doing deposits for all cash registers, preparing food and deli items, cleaning store and bathroom, keeping all merchandise stocked, ringing up customers both inside store and drive-thru, and filling small propane tanks.
