Responsible for performing specialized nursing duties across all modalities of Radiology.

• Routinely starts and checks peripheral intravenous lines, implanted ports, administers medications, obtains labs, monitors vital signs, and assists patients with specific needs.

• Developing specialized medical treatments, nursing care, and emergency health plans for individual students as needed, and worked with community agencies to meet needs of students.
• Training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems, and ensuring that all pertinent medical records are maintained.
• Provided professional development training to school staff in areas of medication administration/documentation, emergency response, Type 1 diabetic education, first aid, CPR, and injury prevention.
