Observes and reports changes in client's condition. Follows specific care plans for clients. Assists with personal care needs of client such as bathing and dressing.
Assists with post-mortem care. Performs care in an end-of-life hospice setting. Performs care for clients with special needs.
Greet clients and triage upon arrival to the facility. Reconciles past medical history, allergies, and current medications of the client. Obtains specimens such as strep swabs, COVID swabs, and urine samples, labels them and sends them to the lab. Assists with and applies orthotic devices such as walking boots, crutches, wrist splints, and slings per doctor's orders. Appropriately documents all orthotic equipment, procedures, and wound care performed.
Assisted in level 2 trauma center situations, CPR, and emergency procedures. Received direction and assignments from physicians and nurses, providing efficient support to optimize patient care. Responded quickly and calmly to emergency situations, providing life-saving measures when necessary. Collected basic samples, labeled specimens properly, and transferred to the laboratory for testing. Obtained STAT EKGs, blood glucose monitoring, and other necessary tasks.
