Additional Information

Through the United Steelworkers I was offered additional specialized education. These classes were lead by international steelworker administration members such as; USW President David McCall, USW District 1 manager Donnie Blatt, Vice President Roxanne Brown, Women Of Steel leader Randie Pearson, Ann Flener, and Teresa Cassady. These classes ranged from contract negotiations, bargaining language, arbitration and mediation, grievance procedures, and building relationships with management among many other subjects. I valued the opportunity for those classes and built some wonderful lasting relationships along with the knowledge gained.

I am very excited to be continuing my pursuit of my education in Human Resources and Labor Management by finishing the last 5 classes needed for my bachelors degree and taking my SHRM CP exam in December.
