I wrote hundreds of lessons and skits for Children's Church over my 22 years of employment as well as came up with games, crafts, and other activities.
I wrote Bible study lessons for a three year long Bible Study curriculum, totaling over 150 separate lessons, which went through the Bible in chronological order. The lessons included a main lesson full of information with a learning objective and discussion questions as well as engaging games and activities pertaining to the topic.
I oversaw between four and five separate programs each week, including a team of between 20 and 30 volunteer staff.
Maintained the physical meeting space of the Children's Department, including a large meeting room, six smaller classrooms and a resource room, keeping all spaces clean and organized, and needed supplies well stocked.
Planned several events per year for children (and their families) to attend outside of regular church hours, including parties, mission projects, and field trips.
