Summary

I have worked for 19 years with children of various ages. I've worked in two daycare/preschools where I taught preschool and took care of children. I moved on to work at Lakeland Joint School district in 2015/2016 school year, Istarted in our developmental preschool. The following year I worked as a behavioral interventionist and have been in this position the past 6 years. I worked with a variety of children with various diagnosis. I was blessed with an opportunity to enter the ABA field in July of 2022, it is here that I experience so much growth and an even deeper level of understanding of individuals with ASD. I have worked for Focused Behavior Solutions for 3 years, in that time I have practiced evidence based therapy, helped clients and their help others, we help train new BTs, we assist in behaviors when necessary and make sure that programs are ran as they should be. I believe that children and adults alike need a voice, need a person to be in their corner and work for them. This spring I was certified in crisis prevention through CPI (crisis prevention institute). We also used PBIS, positive behavior plans. I also have trained in deescalation and TBRI. I am a very patient person who is willing to go above and beyond. I have always wanted to help others and make their lives better in some way. families find hope and support. I am a senior BT for our clinic, with this title
