Intern →Temporary Assistant → Auto Registration Lead (Promoted)
At Poderosos Auto Insurance and Tax Services, in addition to handling tax preparation and auto insurance policies, our office is also a third-party DMV-authorized partner that provides vehicle registration services with faster turnaround times than traditional DMV offices.
I was responsible for managing the Auto Registration Department; however, prior to that, I served as a Temporary Assistant.
Temporary Assistant (For my employer & Office Support):
- Assisted customers with insurance quotes, renewals, payments, and service questions.
- Handled front-desk tasks including phone support, walk-in clients, and documentation review.
- Organized, scanned, and maintained customer records and office files.
- Provided general administrative support, including data entry and form processing.
- Answered incoming phone calls to process requests, transfer calls, or relay messages to appropriate personnel. Even giving courtesy calls to customers of our new services and when their next bill is due. (Managed over 50 customers calls per day)
Auto Registration Specialist / DMV Clerk (Promoted too):
- Processing basic registration renewals, title transfers, address changes, duplicate titles and plates using SambaSafety DMV Partner systems.
- Managing important inventory and documentation, maintaining organized filing systems, and preparing weekly reports and document batches to send to Samba.
- Providing customer assistance by explaining DMV procedures, identifying missing paperwork, and ensuring all forms were properly completed for efficient processing.
- Assisted customers with multiple services that had to do with auto insurance, auto registrations, and taxes.
- Performed front-desk customer service, answered client questions, and provided support with documentation.
