Accomplishments

I have been a CNA for 24+ years. I have worked with a variety of different types of people. I have worked with developmentally challenged, elderly. as well as those with dual diagnosis having to do with addiction and mental health conditions.

I have had multiple classes over the last few months to help me better understand people with mental health issues. I find the mental health field to be something I can make a career out of as I am very passionate about it. I intend on furthering my education and am currently enrolled to become a Registered Behavioral Technician.

I am currently taking an ASL class and have hopes of enrolling in a Spanish class soon. I feel I can help more people if I can better communicate with a wider demographic.

I have led IMR groups. I have knowledge in promoting Psycho Social Activities. I have had Non Violent Crisis Intervention classes. I am current on my CPR and first certification.
