Working for several years in a hospital environment, I learned how to establish positive relationships with carriers, representatives, and coworkers through communication and coordination skills. I am competent in communicating with hospital personnel to help them obtain the supplies they need. While being in this environment, I developed the interest to change paths from pursuing a degree in elementary education to beginning the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program at Southeast Community College. I am looking forward to the opportunity to complete my PTA training and learn from the staff at Madonna.
Provide support for hospital supply inventory, maintain records of patient charge materials, and communicate with nurses and medical staff to fulfill their requirements. Additionally, initiate vendor orders for patient rental equipment, coordinate delivery and pickup, and ensure proper billing documentation.
Served as a member of patient care and support teams to ensure patients' complete satisfaction during their hospital experience. Conducted patient room cleaning and operated necessary equipment.
