Additional Information

I am certified in C.P.I and MANDT, for behavioral management/crisis prevention and a positive way to interact and manage behavioral situations. I have had ongoing training and professional development with both school districts on working with behaviors and other issues with children Early Education age to Elementary aged. Conscious Discipline has been the main focus for the last four years.

I also have three children of my own that are special needs of varying degrees. Combined the needs are as follows: ADHD, ASD level 3, and level 2, Social Anxiety Disorder, Depression Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Cerebral Palsy, Global Dev. Delay, Brain Injury.

I have experience not only in work situations, but also in personal life situations working with and living with children of various ages and various degrees of disability. I believe that my personal experience is far more useful in that I know what the parents are feeling and going through. I know what their needs and wants are and that they are typically lost at how to help their child. This personal experience has also taught me to use it in my professional life. I do not take personal the behaviors of clients, I understand them, I have the patience to help them try over and over until success is met.
