This shelter housed both women and children who have been exposed to domestic abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect. Resources for these women and children included: 24 hour hotline, emergency shelter, individual counseling and advocacy program, support groups, and preventive measures. Volunteer work was implemented by answering hotline calls, monitoring the shelter that housed women/children, and providing support.
