I have almost 3 years of WIC experience and over 10 years of health care experience. I strive to enhance the lives of the participants of the communities I serve. I also aim to have strong, collaborative partnerships within other resources within the community.
As the UAAGOG WIC Supervisor, I still maintain all my job duties that I preformed as the WIC Nutrition Educator. I also now oversee five WIC clinics in four counties, with 3-4 employees. I ensure employees are up-to-date with all trainings and policy changes. I review files and reports for agency, State, and USDA compliance.
As a Nutrition Educator, I worked with low income participants and their families by providing breastfeeding and/or breast pump support and education, nutrition education, and referrals to other supportive programs. I helped clients set participant centered short term goals to help aim for healthier families. I have built and maintained a positive report with clients, families, and community partners.
During my employment with the building department, I established and maintained a positive report with the general public and contractors. I reviewed incoming plans for code compliance and fees, and issued permits and contractor's licenses accordingly. I reconciled daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual fees and payments. I also took care of the office ordering and receiving, as well as general office duties.
While employed with the Clerk & Recorders office, I worked in the motor vehicle department. I provided customer service to the general public and auto dealers. I reviewed documents for compliance and issued titles, license plates, and registrations accordingly. I also processed liens as well as performed other general office duties.
