As an employee at a third-party administrator firm, I focused on processing distribution request forms in regards to plan sponsored retirement plans. I processed distributions from 401(k), 403(b), Cash Balance, Defined Benefit, Profit Sharing, and Safe Harbor Plans.
I was the main contact for clients and participants and helped facilitate and execute the following distribution requests: Loans, In-Service’s, Hardships, Terminated Participant requests, Required Minimum Distributions, Plan Terminations, and Force Out Automatic Rollover Requests.
I worked alongside all financial venders while working the distribution processing desk and I became proficient at navigating the websites, and understanding the processes and procedures for each of the different distribution requests.
Extensive training with the LaserFishe Documents Scanning and Saving Database. Proficient with Adobe, Excel, Word Documents.
The financial vendors and brokerage accounts I worked with are as follows: John Hancock, American Funds, Empower, Voya, Nationwide, Transamerica, AXA, One America, Wells Fargo, Charles Schwab, Morgan Stanley, the Standard, LPL Financial, SEI Financial, Principal, Fidelity, Ascensus, and many different Credit Unions.
I worked alongside financial Advisors, plan sponsors, compliance teams, sales consultants, plan administrators, plan termination teams, plan sponsors and other TPA firms in a professional manner.
I answered clients calls and provided information regarding the rules and regulations, of the plans, keeping our clients in compliance with the IRS.
I worked for Hicks Pension Services for 8 and 1/2 years. During my time at Hicks Pension Services I ran an extremely fast-paced, indispensable department.
During my time at Hicks Pension Services I managed an extremely large volume of client caseloads, approximately 2,600 plans with continual growth.
This work demanded accuracy, detail, and extreme organization.
With the perpetual additions to the department's caseload, I maintained operations at a rapid pace but also accomplished with high quality.
I single handedly ran my department for multiple years effectively executing as many requests as possible in a timely fashion and exceeded expectations for all involved.
