• Serve as Charge Nurse overseeing unit operations, staffing assignments, and patient flow for up to 30 beds
• Act as a clinical resource and mentor for RNs and support staff
• Precept and orient new graduate nurses and experienced RNs, providing hands-on training, performance feedback, and ongoing support
• Evaluate preceptee competency, clinical skills, and readiness for independent practice
• Collaborate with leadership to support onboarding and retention efforts
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure safe patient throughput
• Respond to emergencies and escalate concerns appropriately
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
