• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections on aerospace tooling by verifying conformance to technical drawings and customer specifications. Use various types of precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers and a Faroarm with Polyworks. Some experience with GD&T.
• Helped drive turnaround time of inspection down from 7 days to 5.5 days by implementing a system of priority, including visual aids to help determine order of which inspections are completed.

SMT Operation:

• Set-up and operated a SMT machine, solder printer, oven, AOI machine, and ICT fixture. Inspected PCBs and its soldered components using circuitry schematics.

• Soldered through hole components as well as performed solder rework.

• Performed regular line maintenance in accordance with 5S methodology.

Quality Inspection:

• Inspected incoming PCBs for defects using circuitry schematics.

• Utilized in-house ERP and Microsoft Suite to manage inventory and nonconformances.

Service Technician:

• Repaired and refurbished gas-sampling devices. Calibrated outgoing products using various gases and calibration fixturing.

• Managed outgoing orders using Salesforce.

Electrical Assembly:

• Assembled electrical breaker boxes. Crimped wires, routed phase wires, neutral and ground terminations and performed appropriate wire management.

• Performed final inspections on completed products.

• Maintained a safe and clean work environment with a focus on the Lean 6S methodology.

• Preliminarily trained as a line lead.

Material Handling:

• Kitted jobs for assembly lines. Had physical capability to lift various goods and travel through the warehouse and production floor on foot, using pallet/power jacks and lift trucks.

• Use of ERP, Microsoft Suite, BOMs, and engineering change travelers.

• Assembled and calibrated air-sampling equipment to engineering specifications.
• Assumed leadership of a team of 5 people, handling their day-to-day needs and workflow.
• Handled inventory management for the calibration department and maintained a quality standard across all products that passed through calibration.
