Located at Canyon Vista Medical Center - Advanced Wound Care Center. I work as an intake, case manager and discharge nurse. Duties include wound assessments, measuring and photographing wounds, wound dressings, wound vacs, ordering medications and supplies. Case management duties include assisting providers with debridement surgeries, insurance authorizations, working closely with home health agencies and completing prior authorizations. Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Certified.

• I started working for this company in Maricopa County and transferred to the Cochise County clinic.
• Duties included administering Methadone, Suboxone, Subutex, and Vivitrol injections. Other duties include impairment assessments, medication counts, DEA audits, internal audits, bi-annual inventories, daily dispensing reports, open/closing reports, and ordering medication and supplies
• I worked hands on with the providers, case management, and counselors to help assist with the intake process which includes drug screens, blood draws to test for syphilis, Hep C and HIV, and providing treatment medications and additional resources to positive clients.

• I worked on the acute care unit which consists of 28-beds with medical surgical and medical telemetry patients
• My job duties included but were not limited to assessments, medication administration, IV infusions, blood transfusions, admissions, discharges, education, and pre/post op surgical patients.
• I was also floated to the Psychiatric Unit and the ER on multiple occasions.

• I was contracted as a school nurse. My duty was to provide first aid care with health assessments, write care plans and coordinate the care of students with chronic or acute health conditions, communicate with teachers and staff to ensure the safety and well-being of students, administer medications and monitor delegated medication administration, assist in the evaluation of students for special services, coordinate and provide vision and hearing screenings, educate and train staff on: seizures, asthma, life threatening allergies, diabetes, and blood borne pathogens.

• My duties included medication administration, IV infusions, assessments, wound care, treatment orders, admissions, medication refills, delegating tasks, assisting with tasks such as changing, toileting, feeding, and hygiene care.

• While working with the Arizona State Prison Complex I was able to use critical thinking in emergent and non-emergency situations
• My duties included emergency response, medication administration, IV infusions, immunizations, chronic care appts, delegation, and urgent and critical patient care.

• I started working for Safeway when I graduated high school
• I started off as a bagger and eventually became a cashier
• After a few months I was promoted to a full-time day stocker
• I eventually started working overnights and became the night shift crew manager
• During my management role I was responsible for ordering for the entire grocery department, building in store and outdoor displays, breaking down the truck loads, stocking the shelves, facing, rotating product, working backstock and sky shelves
• I also oversaw the other night stockers and created the schedule and flow for the night shift.

• I worked in a family practice clinic and had the opportunity to work with pediatrics and adult patients
• I performed vital signs, administered medications and immunizations, administered antigens, assisted in the lab with phlebotomy, performed EKGs, assisted with well women checkups and minor surgeries.

• While I was in school obtaining my medical assistant certificate I worked as a manager at Dollar General
• During my time in management, I was able to gain experience as an assistant and general manager
• I had to step up and work both positions for 6+ months due to my manager being let go
• I worked on schedules, training current employees and new hires, delegating tasks, and hiring new staff members
• I ran the register, ordered merchandise, rotated expiration dates, worked back stock, stocked product from the truck to the shelves, completed resets, and received items from vendors.
