• As a cashier at The Home Depot, I work closely with contractors to make sure their needs are met and they have everything they need for their work day.

• I ring up their selections with precision making sure that nothing is left in the cart unpaid for.

• I inform the customers about our loyalty programs to drive sales for the store, as well as making sure to stay up to date with our credit card benefit offers.

• As a customer service associate for The Home Depot I carry many responsibilities. These responsibilities include, completing customer returns, fulfilling customer order pickups, placing orders for customers, running curbside orders, and cashiering as well.

• I am required to keep a calm and polite demeanor in the midst of tense circumstances. I also am recruited to work with a sense of urgency and keep a clean work station.

• Team work is massive in this role and I absolutely love my team! I work well during both team and solo work.

• My skill set has grown drastically in the role of a customer service associate. This role has taught me so many new people skills as well as problem solving skills.

• As customers came through my lane I made sure to ring and bag each item with the upmost care.

• As an order picker I would pull orders with precision making sure to select the highest quality items, while maintaining urgency to meet my timed goal.

• Working for Target also gave me more experience operating a POS system & cash register, and allowed me to expand my knowledge on merchandising techniques and customer service!

• Greeted customers entering the restaurant and responded promptly to customer needs.
• Quickly and accurately rang up customer transactions.
• Worked flexible schedule and extra shifts to meet business needs.
• Operated cash register for cash, check, and credit card transactions with excellent accuracy levels.
• I also worked prep where I learned several key culinary skills like knife skills, grilling, salsa making, and kitchen cleanliness / safety.
