Along with my proficiency certificate, I am enhancing my skills in using software to create and render visuals for businesses and individual clients. With a strong sense of design and an understanding of proportions, I aim to refine these abilities for a fulfilling career, and to learn from industry experts.
Having grown up in the construction and remodeling industry, I have chosen to return to my roots to further my knowledge and integrate physical labor with rendering technology.
Currently, I am collaborating with several small companies, focusing on demolition, design, painting, and remodeling projects.
My role includes assisting with material and time bidding, managing bookkeeping, and scheduling trades with homeowners to meet production deadlines, along with other administrative responsibilities as needed.

When a patient contacts their designated clinic, I am responsible for handling the call, depending on its nature. This may involve composing and sending messages to the provider on the patient's behalf.
I begin the process of medication refills for any prescriptions that the patient might require. If the medication is of a certain type, or if there has been a significant delay since the patient's last follow-up with the prescribing provider, I will guide the patient in scheduling their appointment.
When patients report symptoms, I must apply my critical thinking skills, along with various resources, to assess the situation and prioritize their care. This ensures that the patient receives the appropriate treatment at the right time, minimizing any potential delays.
I also initiate prior authorizations for both medications and procedures.
I follow up with patients regarding their aftercare and any lab tests that may have been conducted. When a patient contacts me, I can discuss normal lab results with them. However, if they have further inquiries, or if any abnormal results have been reported, I relay additional messages to the provider for further assessment.
For a period, I was a member of our Quality Assurance team, where I received monthly reports on all triage calls made. I would analyze this data to evaluate each individual's performance, which, in turn, provides our leaders with insights on areas needing improvement for better training and support of staff.
Additionally, I sent reminder emails to our team to highlight specific points to focus on during their calls.
I would provide training to those who needed additional support to comprehend the processes, enabling them to serve our patients more effectively. This ultimately benefits our organization as a whole, fostering alignment and maintaining a smooth workflow that everyone comprehends and adheres to. A sense of unity is essential to our department.
I manage the Community Clinic Master Provider list for Home Health Organizations that partner with the University of Utah Healthcare system, facilitating follow-ups, and the sending or receiving of Home Health orders for patients discharged from the hospital.
I registered and supported patients using a Virtual Visit platform for acute issues. I scheduled appointments, shared a connection link, and guided patients through the virtual process, ensuring they could connect with and receive care from our Urgent Care Providers.
At the onset of the pandemic, I was involved with the team fielding calls related to COVID, including inquiries about travel, symptoms, concerns, and vaccines. This system emerged in response to the crisis, allowing us to ensure continuous support for all patients, including those outside the University System, at times.
Concurrently, this led to the transition from in-office visits to offering exclusively virtual visits for a period, except in emergencies. In those cases, we would assess the situation and decide if a visit to the Emergency Room was necessary for the patient during the height of the pandemic.
