  • Serving as "Universal Exercise Unit Intensive Program Coordinator", a leadership role which has facilitated provision of intensive services for 46 patients in 2024 at two outpatient rehab sites.
  • Initiated conversations surrounding delivery of episodic care in outpatient rehabilitation, including leading innovative pilots such as a "hybrid intensive" involving collaboration with our mBIT program to provide patient access to a simultaneous PT/OT intensive in addition to a long intensive track, to better serve diverse patient needs.
  • Spearheaded Physical Therapy Intensive programming utilizing the Universal Exercise Unit at two Children’s sites by creating and submitting a project proposal to leadership in collaboration with a colleague. This project proposal identified an unmet need across our system and detailed the benefits of intensive models of care for specific patient populations.

Anticipatory postural adjustments in Parkinson’s disease (04/01/17 - 10/01/18)

  • Purpose: To investigate the effects of a single 30-minute session of non-contact boxing on anticipatory postural adjustments in individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
  • Clinical Relevance: Non-contact boxing alters latency ultimately promoting a more appropriate APA response in individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
